Architectural Building Products remain an actively growing market for powder coatings both here in North America and elsewhere around the globe. The market for architectural powder coatings is heavily driven by industry specifications that are published by several leading industry organizations, including AAMA, GSB and Qualicoat. For the end user there are a number of technology options offered into the marketplace to meet the performance required by the various specifications.
This webinar will focus on the specifications and the various technologies available in the market. The webinar will get into recent updates to the AAMA specifications, including changes intended to address issues experienced with coastal corrosion. The webinar will also discuss the growing call for AAMA specifications into market segments other than architectural applications. There are several concerns that need to be addressed when this happens, as the performance requirements for these specifications may preclude their use in other market segments.
