PCI offers two hands-on workshops, Powder Coating 101 and Powder Coating 202.  Each workshop is designed for different levels of skill and knowledge with the 202 workshop being for the more seasoned coating professional.  Attendees typically include coating applicators, plant managers, engineers, field personnel and sale professionals.

Powder Coating 101 Workshop

The Powder Coating 101 Workshop is an introduction to powder coating that focuses on materials, application, reclamation, testing and evaluation, quality control, the manufacturing process, and much more. You will gain knowledge of powder coatings and the powder coating process from expert industry speakers as well as have an opportunity to network with speakers and other attendees during the PCI-hosted networking reception.  This course is recommended for those with little or no knowledge of powder coatings.

SCHEDULE

Powder Coating 101 is a one and a half day workshop.  Typically the workshop begins at 8:00 AM on the first day and goes until 4:30 PM.  Following the first day is a complimentary reception from 5:00 - 6:00 PM which gives attendees the opportunity to network with others in the powder coating industry and ask more specific one on one questions of the speakers.  The second day begins at 8:00 AM and continues until noon.

REGISTRATION FEES

Powder Coating 101 - Basic Essentials with Plant Tour PCI Members:   $395 Non-Members:  $495

Registration fees include Powder Coating Finisher's Handbook, continental breakfast and lunch, networking reception and certificate of completion.  Transportation to/from the plant tour also included.

Powder Coating 202 Workshop

Powder Coating 202 - Optimizing Your Powder Operation with Lab is a 2-day hands-on advanced workshop that focuses on in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the powder coating process.   All PCI training is conducted by industry experts in an unbiased and commercial-free manner.

PREREQUISITES

A person with basic knowledge of powder coatings (3 or more years of experience recommended) and/or prior attendance of PCI's Powder Coating 101 workshop.

Powder Coating 202 is a two day workshop.  Typically the workshop begins at 8:00 AM on the first day and goes until 4:30 PM.  Following the first day is a complimentary reception from 5:00 - 6:00 PM which gives attendees the opportunity to network with others in the powder coating industry and ask more specific one on one questions of the speakers.  The second day begins at 8:00 AM and continues until 4:00 PM. 

REGISTRATION FEES

PCI Members:  $495 Non-Members:  $595

Registration fees include Powder Coating Finisher's Handbook, a printed copy of the presentations, continental breakfast and lunch each day, networking reception, and certificate of completion.
