 Steve Ladatto is the PCI Technical Director. With more than 37 years of experience spanning research and development, technical leadership, sales and general management, Ladatto brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the powder coating industry. Ladatto began his career with PPG Powder Coatings, where he served as an R&D technician for many years. He then joined Spraylat and served in various technical roles until becoming technical director in 2003, a position he held for nine years, playing a pivotal role in product innovation and technical excellence. In 2012, he moved to IFS Coatings, serving as operations manager where he oversaw the design and construction of a new manufacturing plant in Ardmore, Okla., and subsequently managed its operational initiatives. In 2017, he joined Gordon Inc., a manufacturer of architectural ornamental metal for the construction industry, as technical director, which is the position he continues to hold today. In this role he manages activities in engineering, CAD, product development and quality. Ladatto’s input in shaping PCI training programs, conferences and outreach with other key industry associations will enhance the future of the association. He supports PCI committees, writes technical articles for PCT and provides technical expertise to the overall membership.
