|PCI Scholarship Application|
The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) hereby solicits applications for the 2020 PCI Scholarship. To qualify the
candidate must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student studying industrial coatings technology in a program
that also provides instruction in powder coating technology. These fields include polymer science, manufacturing, engineering, business management, or sales/marketing.
All applications must come through the PCI website no later than March 31, 2020. The applications will be compiled by PCI staff and sent to the Scholarship Committee for review. For corporate donor scholarships, the applications will be compiled and sent to the individual corporate donors for review and selection.

To apply for a PCI Scholarship and/or a PCI Corporate member scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

AWARD SELECTION & PRESENTATION
Award recipients will be selected on an annual basis. Children of PCI member companies are welcomed to make application. If an applicant being considered is related to a PCI board member or a member of the selection committee, that member will recuse themselves from the vote.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by a letter from PCI’s executive director and notifications will also be sent to non-recipients thanking them for their application. Notifications will take place by early May 2020.
PAYMENT OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
General scholarships will be awarded per the scholarship amount approved by the board for the calendar year. The Scholarship Committee will be notified of the amount of funds available to award prior to their review of applicants. Award checks will be sent to the student’s account at the school.
